Jeffco LWV to discuss Nov. 6 ballot issues

Should  possession of marijuana -- in small amounts and for adults only -- be legal in Colorado? Sick of political ads? Should we send a non-binding message to our Congressional delegation to support campaign finance limits? Why do schools need more money in these tough financial times? Will that money be funneled to teacher retirement under PERA? The nonpartisan Jefferson County League of Women Voters will discuss arguments for and against the issues on the Nov. 6 ballot in the Evergreen-Conifer area on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
